A History of M.A. Healy’s as an Irish PPE Supplier

Michael Healy started business in 1954. His business grew steadily with the new mining, pharmaceutical, and industrial revolution in Ireland of the 60's and 70's. M.A. Healy & Sons Ltd. was incorporated in December 1971 and established a second base at Passage West in Cork in 1972.
Our Cork office has played a key role in serving the PPE needs of the burgeoning pharma industry in the Cork region. In 2014 M.A. Healy's moved their wholesale headquarters to our new premises in Knockenrahan Industrial Estate in Arklow, this move enhances our focus on serving the industrial sector. In 2021 our retail workwear and PPE showroom moved from our historic Wexford Road premises to a new shop located adjacent to our offices in Knockenrahan Industrial Estate. Now with a second and third generation in the business, Diarmuid Healy and Deirdre Byrne are very proud of M.A. Healy & Sons Ltd. which has matured as a privately owned company with an enviable pool of experience in our team.
